Hey everyone! Im about 7-10 pounds away from my goals (not sure because of weight fluctuation) I've been on a deficit for about a year now. The reason i want to take a maintenance break is because i heard it can be good for your metabolism and BMR, also i want to see my strength increasing in lifting because ive stopped gaining strength (newbie, around 4 months into lifting and always been in a deficit) and i feel weak as hell and very low motivation to lift (i know this is just a mental thing tho lol), and i really want to see what will happen to my body if i actually lift seriously while still staying in the same weight (im 5'1, around 118-120 lbs). For all of you who have taken maintenance break, how was it and is it hard to get back on track? Thank you any advice is appreciated!
