I seem not to lose weight

Hello everyone, I kinda have this problem. I'm a 21-year-old male, 183 cm in height (6 ft), and a while back I weighed 113 kg (250 pounds), around the beginning of 2021. I decided to do something about it because I began to feel bad. I consulted how to start losing weight with a buddy who does gym and he also lost some weight in the past (had a very similar situation like me). He basically told me to start counting calories and add some movement. So I did.

I used some apps online, which said my body burns around 2500-3000 kcal just by existing. On top of that, I started going for walks and riding a bike. Most of the days I do not go over the 2500 kcal limit in food/drink income, and on top of that I burn around 750 kcal with extra movement.

The first month I only kept track of my movement. I also made a mistake and I didn't weigh myself in the beginning, but I know I was around 110 kg. In the middle of the first month, I weighed 107 kg - which felt good, losing around 3 kg in 2-3 weeks. The problem is, at the end of the month I weighed the same.

I didn't know where's the problem, so the next month I started tracking my food and drinks. I'm two weeks into the second month and I weigh around 106.5 kg. This basically means I lost only .5 kg in two weeks, even tho it seems like I'm not going over the 2500 kcal limit.

I would like to lose like 5 kg a month, what am I doing wrong, what can I do better?

If you need any additional information, feel free to ask, thanks!
