Can anyone give some advice on losing weight in China?

26M, Asian, 93kg, 178cm. (Eyeballing it, I’d estimate I’m maybe at a 28-33% body fat level)

Currently on a business trip here in China and will be for the next few months.

Food primarily consists of rice and noodles, meaning like 70%+ carbs with very little protein. I don’t have a kitchen here so I can’t prepare my own food, and also, takeout and eating out is so cheap in China that there’s really no point in cooking for yourself.

With Chinese food, calories calculation is inaccurate at best, downright wrong at worst; the only thing that I can be sure of is the scoops of protein that I take to supplement my diet.

It doesn’t help that Chinese business culture means at least once a week, I’ll be going out with colleagues. This means unavoidable heavy drinking, usually beer (since I can’t stomach Baijiu).

My body type is the skinny-fat type in that I react very strongly to carbs in that I tend to get drowsy within 30 minutes of an ordinary meal. Most of my fat is gathered around my gut and midsection. I look absolutely normal with my clothes on. I do not have any chronic illnesses that would affect my weight (no thyroid or testosterone issues). My workout schedule here is a pretty stable 3-4 days a week consisting of heavy lifting and light cardio.

Does anyone have any advice for me in my specific situation? I’m starting to lose my mind, discipline and motivation here… it’s so hard to not overeat here.
