I couldn’t understand why I was holding on to weight. I felt like I was doing a good job monitoring my intake.

I came home from work and was exhausted. There was nothing defrosted for dinner so I had a few potato chips and a glass of water. And I had a little piece of chocolate. My son needed a ride to see his girlfriend so I told him over about an hour and a half and brought him home. But we still didn’t have dinner so we stopped at a drive-through. And because what night is complete without dessert I had a piece of cheesecake. All of a sudden I realized I had more than a days worth of calories since I got home from work. No wonder my weight is slowly creeping up.
What do you guys eat when you get home from work and while you’re preparing dinner. Or maybe I shouldn’t be eating at all? I want to establish some good habits over the summer before I return to school in the fall.
