I commonly see posts of discouraged people freaking out that the scale hasn't moved (or maybe the scale even jumped up a few pounds) despite days or weeks of dieting. Then in the comment section someone tells them that they need to count calories better, and that if the scale is moving up then they must be not counting calories properly...or even accidentally cheating on their diet.
Consider for a moment that, your diet is working...really well actually, you are burning fat....but your body is just holding on to some excess water for one of many possible explanations.
If you know you are doing everything correctly, I encourage you to not get frustrated and to give it a few more weeks and see what happens.
