Yesterday I posted this about my marshmallow toast: https://www.reddit.com/r/loseit/comments/nx5spg/i_ate_one_piece_of_marshmallow_toast/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Tonight I am at my parents’ house. My mom is making a large “birthday” meal for all of us since we aren’t all together very often. She luckily texted us before hand the entire menu:
Trip tip roast Caesar salad (dressing and croutons) Mav and cheese Corn on the cob Bruschetta with grilled bread and goat cheese spread (my favorite) And pudding, cream cheese pie for dessert.
My mom is known for her decadent meals. Every ingredient is top notch and all homemade. The cheese is hand grated. The tomatoes are from her garden, etc.
Bc she texted me the menu, I was able to pre-track my meal. I ate normally the entire day. I did not skip any breakfast or lunch calories to “save up”. All I knew was I was going to be at ~2000 calories as opposed to my normal 1400-1600.
I pre tracked as best as I could. The key is following the portions you logged. Weightloss and consistency requires focus, and pre-planning and committing to the plan is the key.
The meal was glorious. I had one portion of everything, except for the bruschetta. I skipped the corn so that I could have 2 portions of my favorite part of the meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. I savored every bite. I stopped when I was satisfied.
I’m going to bed proud once again.
