First week thoughts

So my stats are: 31/5'1"/f. I started at 180, weighed myself today at 176. Not sure if it's a good week, or I just took my weight at the exact right moment, but I'll take it. I'm staying around 1400 cal/day on average, logged in every meal/snack/binge each day on MFP. A little over my daily calorie goal, but it's still a huge deficit in what I was normally consuming.

I've always eaten pretty healthily, lots of fruits and veggies with each meal that I cook myself, but now that I'm working weird bar hours again the late night snacking, portion control, and fast food is what I struggle with. I've been able to successfully replace ice cream with unsweetened applesauce and cinnamon each night last week, this week I'm going to try substituting popcorn for chips.

So far I'm proud of myself for staying on track and being mindful of my choices, but not mean to myself about them either. I wanted a Crunchwrap Supreme bad after work one night, so, I had one. The big difference was I didn't also order a bean burrito and two tacos, eat if all in one sitting and get into a self hate spiral either, so I took that as a huge win! Really hoping I keep up with feeling positive through this week. Tonight has been the first night where I wanted to binge, so I'm here writing to you all instead. I'm making popcorn in a bit, ready to watch a movie and enjoy my weekend (finally). Thanks for reading!
