Feeling a little defeated

I’ve been working my ass off at the gym since they reopened at the end of April and I’ve been averaging a loss of about 1lb per week which is fine as I know they all add up. I was out with friends yesterday and they were taking a lot of pictures which they all shared into our WhatsApp group and I just hate myself in every single one. I felt really good yesterday but seeing how huge I look I just feel totally defeated like all this hard work is just doing nothing.

I mentioned on my last post that I’ve been going through a break up and I’m still struggling with that but recently I’d felt a lot better due to the gym and having a goal of getting myself in shape and feeling good, but after those pictures yesterday I just feel embarrassed. I’m basically going to use those pictures as motivation to keep working hard, but it’s definitely got me upset and I just wanted to vent.
