So I am losing weight, (5'9 216-down from 230 in December) mostly through improving my diet. However I sort of recycle the same few recipes and they are not ideal. I cut most packaged and fast food out of my diet and that helps a lot.
I'm not big on themed diets but the Mediterranean diet seems like the most promising. I want to include more vegetables but I don't know how to incorporate them into actual meals. I wonder if you have any recipes that you include in your regular rotation of meals. Some factors to keep in mind.
- Difficulty of prep-I'm a beginner cook to say the least. The easier the better.
2.cost- while I am willing to spend more money for healthier meals money is money. 3. Leftovers-how long will it stay good.
4.can I bring it to work for lunch. I have a lunch box but no microwave
5.calories-a lot of vegetables don't fill me up. It would be nice to have something between 400-600 calories
