Wondering if anyone can share strategies that helped them make it through similar issues.
I'm currently 132 pounds. I started at around 170 in 2019, and lost about 18 pounds this year, and in 2020. This year, I have not been able to replicate any of my success.
I have so little weight left to lose — less than 10 pounds — and I haven't been able to make lasting progress this year. The lowest I've reached was 127 and so far it's always yo-yo'ed back up. At this point, I'm actually up one pound for 2021 which is pretty discouraging.
One issue seems to be that every single time I go out, food and drinks are around. I don't even feel like I'm eating an unreasonable amount, but even the smallest amount of consumption seems to set me back on the scale. Even if it doesn't, going out ends up taking time away from the shopping and meal prepping I need to do on the weekend in order to stay on track during the week.
I'm also finding it much harder to stay around my 1200-1400 calorie goal than I did when I was losing weight before.
I feel like I'm in a push and pull where I can't reach my goal without isolating myself. Neither option is great for my mental health and I'm really struggling. Has anyone been able to make it through that final stretch without basically dropping out of their social circle, friends, and family?
