Hello all!
I’m a 5’4” 113lb 20 yr old woman who is currently working two jobs and attending university! I’m skinny-fat, with excess fat on my stomach, thighs, and calves! I know to slim these areas down are through exercise, but I don’t have much time!
Note: I don’t have any expertise in health and fitness, so kind constructive criticism is very welcome! :D
With my upcoming schedule, I work everyday except Mondays. Mondays are homework days for me. I try to get 8-10 hours of sleep everyday, as I cannot function properly with less sleep. So I typically have a 6-7 hour window of free time. However! I spend most of those hours reading, cooking, cleaning, studying, taking care of my younger siblings, and generally just relaxing as I need quiet time to not be cranky.
This upcoming Monday, I’ve decided to start walking again for 10,000 steps a day—this generally takes me 1-2 hours. I have no problem with it!
I have a smaller upper body and thicker lower body, meaning genetically from both my parents, I inherited their short heavy legs (I have huuuuuge thighs and calves) and a skinnier top. I really want to lose weight to around 100 lbs.
I’ve been restricting calories to 1,200 a day lately and try to exercise when I can, which is rarely.
I don’t want to sacrifice sleep over exercise. Does anyone have tips to lose some weight or maybe just tone and slim down my thighs and calves?
Edit: In middle school and high school, I was 135 lbs and in my early years of university, I was 125 lbs. Two years later, after turning vegetarian, I’ve gone down to 113 lbs (without much exercise) and have been trying to lose weight to around 100 lbs since.
Thank you!
