Hey everyone,
I'm 18M, 66kg, 5'8". I have been following a low calorie diet for a number of years now, and I have successfully lost a significant amount of weight. About six months ago I posted an advice thread because I was struggling to lose large amounts of fat on my chest and stomach, despite my lower than average weight. The advice was to up protein intake, take up weight training, and if possible to use creatine supplements. I have now been regularly doing all three for the past half-year, and the results are disappointing; even though I have still maintained a sub 1500 calorie diet, done regular weight training, and increased protein intake. My muscle mass in my arms, chest and core has increased significantly, and yet it is invisible because it's still buried under layers of fat on my chest and stomach. I'm extremely frustrated by the lack of progress and running low on solutions. Calorie deficits, high protein diets, regular exercise, weight training... nothing will remove the fat layers from my torso! If anyone has advice it would be greatly appreciated.
