Recently I started getting up at 6:30 in the morning to go for a morning walk (and very little jogging too when my body can take it) and I have been feeling extremely sleepy during the day after the exercise in the morning. Maybe due to the fact that I’ve led quite a sedentary lifestyle so far, and has been lying in bed quite a lot (think most of the day) since maybe 2019? But this recent change in routine has really messed up my sleep schedule. I can’t seem to do anything after the “workout” and ended up taking 1-3 hour naps almost daily then only going to sleep at 2-3am, and waking up 6:30am, and the cycle continues... Tried to spend one whole day without taking a nap and ended up being the most unproductive day ever, I was lethargic and was just looking forward to bed the entire day. Ended up going to bed at 9:30pm then waking up at 6:30am, but felt sleepy again after the walk, and ended up taking a 3 hour nap. I don’t think this is a good sleep schedule but I don’t know what I should do either. Forcing myself to wake up during the naps has proven to make me unproductive throughout the day too. Any thoughts/advices?
