I hate it when my mom freaks out that I "haven't eaten anything" when I just had a protein/meal replacement shake 15 minutes ago.

Even if I wasn't trying to lose weight, I love drinking shakes when it's a busy morning or too hot to cook anything to avoid heating up the house.

My mom does this thing where she'll freak out because I haven't eaten anything when I just literally just finished drinking a shake not too long ago.

Mom: "It's 2pm! You haven't eaten anything"

Me: "I'm still full from the shake, and even though it's liquid, it has everything a complete meal has. I'm fine"

But she'll keep pestering me to eat. I do eat solid food, which is at dinner. I replace two meals with shakes, and other solid foods include snacks, such as a variety of fruits and vegetables.

Her pestering gets so bad, sometimes I'll just eat something so she can stop bothering me. This has been a constant cycle, and because of this, I have trouble losing weight. The thought of her just asking if I've eaten anything causes me stress.

If I feel so much as a leg cramp she'll immediately blame it on how I'm eating.

Any suggestions? I always fail to lose weight because of this.
