Our food keeps going bad on us, which is wasteful and expensive, and then we turn to takeout. Not a lot of healthy options for takeout around here, and honestly, the convenience of takeout is a big reason why we put on weight.
How do you manage healthy food going bad so quickly (especially fruit, fish, etc.) when you A) struggle to go to the store more than once a week because you're way too busy with looming work deadlines, B) have bad luck with food delivery and curbside pickup services because the substitutions are wacky and unpredictable, and C) don't have room for a large freezer and what you currently have is tiny and full of smoothie supplies? Smoothies are my wife's favorite thing ever, unfortunately for the freezer.
