Has your partner treated you differently after you lost the weight, or got fit?

I'm curious to see if your partner has ever treated you different after you lost weight, in a positive or negative way?

A guy I am dating says he likes my body but I am slightly skeptical seeing as I am obese. I just wonder myself if losing this weight (which I was doing before I met him), would cause him to be more attracted to me in the long run, if/when we settle into a relationship and the honeymoon phase wears off. He goes to the gym alot but looks visibly overweight. His ex was also at least a normal BMI, if very slightly athletic. This is making me feel kind of skeptical that he will be attracted to me at a BMI of 34 for a petite woman. I'm not insecure, but I've seen so many stories of redditors losing weight and their spouses or partners getting more attracted and excited, and I think if we get into a relationship that would be so cool if it happened, especially since wether he sticks around or not, I will continue losing the weight.

What's your experience? :)
