Does your body’s hunger level adjust as you lose weight?

Title.

I’ve lost close to 25lbs in the last three months while regaining previously held strength and muscle. It’s weird though. I swear I’m hungrier now than when I first started my cut. Is there a reason for this? I thought as I lost weight, I would require less calories to maintain weight. Therefore, I should be less hungry now than three months ago (speaking in averages here).

I’m still going the same training routine I’ve been doing since my start three months ago. And if anything, since I’ve become more fit, I expend less energy and still gain strength and muscle. But I’m way more hungry!

Any advice?
