I haven’t been to a primary doctor since before the whole pandemic. Since my insurance changed I had to look for a new doctor.
Since the start of the pandemic I’ve gained about 60lbs and it’s really worsened my depression and I’m now the heaviest I’ve been in my life and I even have nightmares where it gets so much worse and my fatigue is through the roof. I’ve gotten a blood test through my gastroenterologist to rule out hyperthyroidism as a reason for fatigue, hair thinning, and weight gain.
That being said, I have my new patient appointment tomorrow with my doctor. I kinda wanted to get starting stats? Or get more base blood work to make sure I’m alright. I don’t know.
In full disclosure I’ve had a subtotal colectomy, I’m in my early 30s and I have Alpha-Gal (allergy to red meats) so I wonder about getting proper amounts of vitamins.
