Advice for cravings?

I get STRONG cravings sometimes. It's usually influenced from YouTube (cooking is a hobby of mine and I watch a load of recipe videos), advertisements, or even just random staples in my house laying around (recently it's been grilled pb&j's). I can't really deplete my pantry ingredients, so not having certain things in the house that isn't on my meal plan isn't a solution.

Is there a certain mentality I should be looking towards? What has helped you guys? I've been trying to say to myself to save it for another day and saying that I would be better without it, but sometimes that doesn't really work well...

For any background info, what I've been doing is CICO with some fasting. For 3 days out of the week, I've been eating 500 calories in the morning and fasting the rest of the day. The other 4 days I'm eating 2000 calories, which will be my maintenance calories for my goal weight. On all days I try and eat healthy to build up good habits, not just junk that I used to eat all the time. I'm not sure I will ever be happy eating less than 1800 a day, as I tried doing 1500 and it didn't work out so well
