Weight Loss for Everyone: Why am I not losing weight?

Why am I not losing weight?

I'm 22F (5'3, CW: 65kg, GW: 55 kg). I recently underwent chemotherapy which got over in April. My starting weight was 57kg but due my treatment I've gained 8 kgs in 4 months.

During my chemotherapy, I didn't have the strength to walk/exercise at all (I couldn't even sit upright for more than 10 min, had to lie down) and had nausea which went only after eating calorie dense foods. Along with this, due to medically induced menopause I think my hormones too have been all over the place.

Post chemo, I started working out again and I'm very proud to say that I am able to do caroline girvan's epic! (I'm on day 38) I'm also eating about 1200-1300 calories per day (I weight all my food) and I'm walking 10000 steps per day.

It's been about 9 weeks that I'm following this but I've not lost any weight so far. I'm extremely happy to be cancer free but this weight gain has been bothering me way too much, I can't fit into any of my clothes and just feel very uncomfortable in my skin.

I've always been an overweight kid and it took me a lot of effort to lose that weight and get to 55 kgs. But now after chemotherapy to gain it all back and not lose even a bit of it is driving me crazy.

What am I doing wrong?
