Trying to lose 100ish pounds in a year (or shorter)

I’ve been trying to lose weight off and on for awhile but after going into the dressing room today and seeing how I liked and how all the usual sizes I use to fit can barely get up my thigh, and then going to six flags and not being able to sit in any of my favorite rides, I knew it was time for a change. Currently I’m around 297lbs and I wanna be 200 before I hit 21 (my 20th birthday was a few weeks ago) but I don’t know where to start. I’ve always been a big and strong guy but I just wanna bring the body fat down any tips on what to do, or the best to reach my goal and sustain it? I got my BMR which is around 1950 calories so ima try and eat around 2000 calories a day, or close to it
