Time to start again. Again.

30f|SW230|CW230|GW150 A few years ago I lost 40lbs. Since then, I have gained back 50lbs. My life has gotten quite hectic now and I have new motivations to get healthy again. I got pregnant mid September 2020. Had my son at the end of March. Which means he was ten weeks early. Life has been even more stressful because of that. He was in the NICU for 83 days. Now that he is around, I want to get healthy again so that I can keep up with him as he gets older.

I currently weigh about 230lbs. For now I want to get to 200lbs. I am hoping to accomplish this before the new year. Eventually I would like to get to 150lbs. But for now, 200lbs would be great.

My plan: 1. Count calories - This helped me so much the first time. Knowing what I am eating helps me plan my days. I tried doing this once without counting and it did not work. For now, the loseit app says I can have about 1400cals a day. 2. No pop or candy. These two things are not good for me. They are a trigger food for me. I know I can't have one or two. I will get off the wagon and burn it down to get more. Better to not allow it. 3. More walking. I live in a small town, so no gym access. But I can walk. 4. More protein. With a low calorie amount, I want to make sure I am feeling full. Hoping to get 100gm of protein a day.

I am curious if anyone has a good protein shake they recommend? I don't want to spend money and then find out I don't like it. I like chocolate flavoured ones.
