Context: I’ve just recently started working out with a friend who has a home gym, I strength train minimally with his brother who is a professional trainer but, I can only do that once a week. I thought doing workout programs like Heather Robertson which use dumbbells and HIIT to train my muscles for the last month but, I want to start amping up my strength as I am getting pretty used to and comfortable with the weights I’ve used. or maybe I want a new routine/workouts to do? I was just wondering HOW EFFECTIVE will a cardio routine + a YouTube workout program on top of CICO actually be? because it seems most people on this subreddit are die hards for CICO and strength training… I fear that my exercise will not amount to a deficit as I log it on MyFitnessPal
