I started off borderline overweight/normal weight according to bmi and looked pretty chubby, I've gotten myself to a normal weight and I've noticeably lost fat from my face and upper body. But I still have a lot of fat in my thighs and butt and as a male I'm pretty self conscious of this. Like my upper body is skinny and my thighs are pretty fat
For what it's worth I'm able to fit into smaller jeans so I guess my butt has gotten smaller but it's still bigger than average and big compared to the rest of my body
When I look online the two opposing pieces of advice I see are that
1) The place with the most fat is the last place you'll lose it so you should keep trying to lose weight until it's gone
2) Losing even more weight won't help and it's time to start working out (I don't workout at all currently)
Has anyone had experience with this? I'm not sure which way to go
