Back story: I lost over 80 pounds about 8 years ago. I kept it off for 5 or so years. Injured my back 3 years ago and slowly started gaining weight. Due to my injury, working out was extremely painful and the last 3 years of my life have just been me ‘existing’ and not living. Just turned 31 and I started to feel a little hopeless when it came to life.
Why am I proud? I finally have found a way to manage my back pain and this week I worked out for 5 whole days!! (30-45 minutes each workout).
I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! I’ve always felt better when I workout, both mentally and physically, but chronic pain has stopped me over the last 3 years.
I am FINALLY hopeful for the future and I can finally see myself getting back to a weight that I am comfortable, healthy and happy with.
Bring on the progress :)
