I'm gonna start trying to really diet again... and I'm nervous. Advice is appreciated.
Historically, I haven't been able to keep up with unseasoned chicken & broccoli for more than a week.
Somewhat because I get so bored with the taste... but also, because I'm not great at keeping up with cooking.
What are some healthy, low-energy staples you've found yourself turning to? Is it all just power bars?
For instance, I love the "Curry Chicken Salad" item at Trader Joe's. Love to eat it with crackers. Maybe I could eat it on a lettuce rollup or something? I know processed foods aren't gonna be great, but I'm sure there are some options out there...
Anyone else have their go-to's they'd recommend? Anything helps. Thanks :)
PS - I know I'll probably have to hunker down & eat the chicken & broccoli at some point, but I really want this new chapter to be a lifestyle change, and not some kind of fad diet that I'm gonna burn out from in a week or month. I want to train my body to crave better/healthier foods, and I think "easing" myself into it is the best way I'll be able to maintain things in the long run.
