Body recomposition

So, this is so strange right now. I'm looking at pictures of myself that are probably around a month or two apart. The number on the scale hasn't changed much (I've only lost one or two kg) but my body looks completely different? I feel like I'm going crazy but it might actually be body recomposition. I've been doing a lot of strength training mainly, and I just can't believe it worked? I don't feel comfortable sharing images of me in my underwear lol, but you'll have to take my word for it. My frame just looks a lot smaller and I'm wearing the same clothes in the before and after.

I just wanted to ask if aomeone had seen a similar situation? Of course I've been dieting on and off since the start of the year but it's the first time I see actual results now? Anyone with the same experience or who can tell me if thia is actually possible? I just can't believe I'm almost the same weight but look so different!
