Am I losing too much weight too quickly?

I’ve lost 11 lbs since the first of the month and 5.8 lbs in the last week. I know you’re not really supposed to lose more than 2ish lbs a week but I’m not even really trying to. I’m a six ft guy, so my maintenance should be roughly 2500 calories and I’m eating 1200-1500 a day, which I know is toward the low end of what I’m supposed to be eating but shouldn’t be unhealthy. But at a 1000ish calorie deficit I have no idea how I’ve lost 11 lbs in two weeks. I’m working out, so that might cause me to lose fat quicker, but I’ve also put on a noticeable amount of muscle, so I’ve definitely gained some muscle weight. Should I be eating more?
