I posted here 3 weeks ago looking for advice since I couldn't really think of what was holding me back from losing any weight. https://www.reddit.com/r/loseit/comments/oxas0p/not_losing_weight_maybe_my_ssri/
I ended up weighing everything that wasn't a splash of oil or a pinch of salt and pepper and have been hitting 1800 calories daily no problem. I've also been at the gym 3x a week as well since then only missing 1 session because I donated blood. With all of that said, my weight is still at 220 and it seems I cannot lose weight.
There was a day at the gym I weighed in at 119.4 and I expect that was due to water as it quickly came back not long after. I had a blood test done and my thyroid is fine and I have no diabetes or anything wrong as far as my doctor could tell. So aside from giving several hundreds of dollars to a nutritionist, I am at a loss as to what to do. Is it milk maybe? It's literally the only thing I drink aside from water and I only have 10 ounces with my protein shake :( The thing that bothers me the most is that I can eat whatever I want and go back to my horribly awful diet and still stay at 220lbs. Half a bag of chips and salsa plus a whole hagendas? No problem still 220.
Please any suggestions or advice are sorely wanted, thanks for reading.
