Living in america is like living in a fat-normalizing bubble

I go on YouTube and watch concert videos and such. In the audience, I can rarely if ever find a fat person, if the concert took place in Europe or Asia.

Even in movies and series, if you have any doubt if you're watching an European or American production, wait and see wether a fat character appears.

I'm not sure what my point is, I just recently noticed this and wanted to vent somewhere. Although, if it's of common interest of other members of the sub, we might start a discussion on this.
