I have been wondering if carbs have been affecting my body fat? I’m 16, 5’9, and 157 pounds. Tbh I don’t have that much fat on my arms or legs or my upper body, but I have a lot on my stomach and hips. I have love handles basically, and kind of a muffin top. I have been cutting down calories (kind of more like an estimate) and have been integrating more cardio and more intense weight lifting. But my stomach and hips still persist, even in progress photos. My family is mainly Italian so we eat a lot of pasta and carbs. Do you think that has a correlation on my love handles? Or am I just too young for that to be a factor? Maybe just puberty hormones? I have thought of it to be genetics but I think there are ways to overcome that. But tbh idek.
