Stress binge eating for the past 6 weeks

Pretty much since the start of July I have been continuously over eating and binge eating. Stress has always been a food related trigger for me, and it’s felt like one thing after the other between moving, my beloved cat dying, and my busy season at work. I finally feel like a lot of the life stuff and stress is calming down but it’s like a habit has formed around constantly eating and thinking about food. Even worse the foods I’ve been eating tend to make me have digestion issues and over time the whole experience makes me kind of depressed. Im honestly at a point right now where I don’t trust myself to leave the house for any task/errand and not end up buying fast food or convenience store junk, even when I’m already or my way to pick up dinner. I literally pregame my take out 😣 I have been stuck in this habit and cycle in the past for long periods of time and I don’t even know or remember what made it stop any of those other times. I guess I’m sort of just venting and looking for commiseration, but if anyone has tips of breaking the binge/stress eating coping habits once the stress recedes I would love to hear them.
