Skipping

Hi Everyone, Currently looking to lose weight but not fully understanding calorie Deficit and need some advice My stats: Male 18 year old 5ft 10 80kg My goal is to get back down to 70kg and looking at doing a calorie deficit, not very active mostly sitting around. Mostly gained all this weight from junk food etc

I’ve recently started looking into skipping to try lose weight, how much weight could I lose if I Jump roped for 1 hour daily for a month And will obviously have a well planned diet as well (Calorie deficit)

My plan is to intake 2500 calories daily and to lose 1000 calorie daily through cardio. I’ve done some research but don’t really get it, not sure if this is healthy or not. On a normal day I barely eat, I usually just have lunch (sometimes) and dinner but I usually have a lot of snacks at night which is why I’m gaining weight fast but going to cut this out now. So that’s why my calorie intake is quite low

Can someone let me know how much weight I could lose by Jump rope?
