Just got access to a home gym, would like some help setting up a routine.

I've been losing weight since June, and have dropped about 30 pounds, and am planning to lose another 30 (started at 220, now at 190). One of my goals was to start strength training in earnest for the first time in my life after getting a good way into the journey.

After getting to know one of my neighbors, he invited me to check out his home gym, and I just recently took him up on the offer to check it out. There's a good amount of free weights, dumbells up to 25, a barbell with more weights, a bench press, pull up bar, squat rack, a lat machine (not sure the specifics), and punching bag.

So, a lot, especially for a huge noob like me. I have a friend who wants to come training with me who has a bit more experience, but I could use some help setting a routine for the next few weeks.

Mainly I just want to establish a foundation, and get familiar and moderately stronger across my whole body before focusing on gains and heavier lifts.

My stats are 22, male, 5'10, currently 190, goal of 160 (although I'm fine exceeding that if the extra weight is muscle). I'm planning to go Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, in addition to walking 5 miles daily, with the weekends off.

I'm completely ignorant about this stuff! The only time I was in a gym was high school PE and I HATED it, so any help figuring it out would be awesome.
