Hello,
So I'm truly ready to get myself back into shape. Without going into too much personal information, I'm thinking about getting myself a dog and I want to be healthy enough to take them on walks and play with them and properly give the dog the right life it deserves. Also, I'm just tired of being fat and depressed.
I'm a 5'5 male at 325lbs and I'm not diabetic. I've got good cholesterol levels and sometimes my blood pressure can peak above the healthy limit but in most cases it's in at an acceptable level. I'm not new to working out and I have minimal knowledge of healthy eating as I used to be "in-shape" and a pretty active person but I let myself get this way and now I don't know what to do it get out of it.
My problem is whenever I do the most minimal physical activity I start to get extremely out of breath, my back starts to hurt and when I push through it I gets to the point to where I have to stop to catch my breath. Simple walking for just a few minutes will cause this to happen and it's getting disheartening because I can barely do anything before I have to stop. I'm wondering if anyone has some suggestions for me? I'm not sure if I should just keep doing some walking and stop and start again after some rest and keep at it or if there is something more beneficial i could be doing. Any help would really be helpful.
