I can barely walk 15 minutes, whats up with that? Is it ok if I stick with walking for another week or should I try to push myself harder?

I didn't know it was possible to be this out of shape while barely being overweight but I have been very inactive for a couple months. I decided to just start walking an hour split into two 30 minute segments a couple hours apart. After that I planned to slowly increase to a mile run and then maybe 2 miles and switch to other activities and lifting weights.

I walked 30 minutes earlier today. Halfway i started feeling a bit ill so I drank some water and felt fine but by the end I was certainly a bit dizzy and out of breath. I tried again and I had to force myself to even make it to 15. I was drenched in sweat, my legs were a bit sore but nothing that would stop me. My heart rate was reaching into the 140s and my breathing was hard. I am wondering if I should keep with the walking for now, maybe get to a point where I can walk an hour straight at an average pace, or should i just keep it to maybe 15 minute walks, a 10 minute break, then trying my best for a mile run
