How do you track bites of food?

Usually random bites happen for me when I’m cooking dinner, and I just add whatever I ate while cooking into my total tracking for that meal. However, there are occasions where I’ll have a bite of whatever my husband is snacking on or something like that, and I’m not super confident that I’ve been tracking those individual bites correctly.

For example, if I pinched off two bites of bread, how would I track that if my app only has increments of (1) bun, grams, and ounces? Ideally I’d like to get the macros accounted for but if it’s easier to say “for every bite track 10 calories” or whatever, I’m open to that too.
