I’m F/31/5’6 weighing 209. Goal is around 150. I’ve gained 2 stone in the last 6 months (10lbs of which the 2 weeks before starting to diet ughh). This last month I dropped my calories to 1650, and had no result on the first week so I decided to drop refined carbs, sugar, and dairy from my diet and started working out 5 days a week (3 strength, 2 cardio, then 3 cardio 2 strength etc.). That second week I lost 4.5lbs so was thrilled. Third I didn’t weight as it was my totm, but I got weighed this morning at the end of my 4th week....and I’ve gained 4lbs back. My diet is mostly lean protein, fats like avocado, nut, or seeds, veggies, a lil fruit, sometimes a protein bar. Everything I eat is weighed and tracked. The choice to cut certain foods out was also because I have fibromyalgia, so this helps. My strength training is an at home full body program, which usually takes around 1h, plus 10 minutes stretching before and after, and a warm up. My cardio is an exercise bike we’re my speed went from 16mph first week, and 19mph now (according to the bike anyway, I know that may not be accurate). My heart rate is high, and I really am pushing myself. I’m struggling to get out and about on a day to day basis, to tbf my steps aren’t always great. I’m trying to do things like dancing, jumping jacks, high knees etc. whilst I’m waiting for my food to cook, or I’m cleaning up, just to keep myself active in some way.
I know this is a bit wordy, but just trying to give an overview to get the best advice :). Any help would be so appreciated, as I’ve been left extremely disheartened today and just feel so sad from it. Thanks in advance!
