hi everyone! Like the title states I’m having trouble figuring out how much I should eat daily to lose weight! I’ve tried multiple online calculators and I get anywhere from 1100-1500 D: I’ve also seen often that <1200 is too little for anyone but idk if this is true? Especially since I’m pretty short

21yo Female 170lbs 5’0”
I’ve started going to the gym for some strength training, but have strayed away from cardio because I don’t know if I should eat back those calories burned?
Whenever I try to figure out how much I should be eating, I get confused with my maintenance calories (which I’ve seen from 1600-1900), and the fact that a 500 calorie deficit is recommended. I also make sure to use a Sedentary activity level. But that puts me at a really low intake if I want to lose 1lb per week, which I don’t really see people doing often. Then I get worried that I’m calculating wrong and will eat too little, and up doing more harm than good.
I really want to start this journey and would greatly appreciate any tips/advice! :(
