I've been trying to lose weight most of my life and succeeded in losing 35 lbs in the winter of 2020 and maintaining for about 5 months.
This summer I started working 12-hour shifts at a factory and I thought the weight would keep come right off. Other than the fact that my work experience up until recently has been toxic and miserable, I've gained 13lbs/6kg and am exhausted and hungry all the time.
I think the cycle of limited calories + limited time at home + exhaustion has led to this as there have been countless times where I go 3 days working and losing weight only to cave in the evenings and binge on fast food for another 3 days. I have almost no food in my fridge because I'm so sore from being on my feet all day that I don't have the energy to walk to the store (no car) and haul groceries back to my home.
These people don't pay me enough to gain weight and I need these 13lbs off before school starts next month and my contract ends (finally and thankfully). If anyone has been in a similar situation and managed to keep weight off, please, I'm desperate!
