Hi,
So the title of this might not seem huge to some, but it is to me. 18 months ago I was put on medication that caused me to go from a 70kg body weight right up to 90+kgs (I'm 6 foot). I had always been naturally thin, but now everything's changed. I'm not huge but I am "overweight" according to my BMI and the extra weight is having an effect on my self esteem. I want to lose the weight but have never needed to before and don't know where to start.
I'm now off of the medication so should be able to lose some weight. I eat an average amount of carbs with every meal, and probably would have a hard time cutting them out (meals without carbs just seem boring to me). For example, I rely on a sandwich for lunch every day. Otherwise I eat pretty healthily, all home cooked meals with a lot of veg, and fat mostly in the form of oil. I do like snacking on chocolate and biscuits too... I've recently tried to start running and my pace is at 6.47km/h on a 5k. I also want to start doing morning core exercises and maybe yoga.
I guess what I'm looking for in this post is advice on how what I said above can be implemented to help me lose weight; actually all advice is appreciated! Dietary and exercise tips are all welcome. They'll all go a long way in helping me get back to my target weight of 75kgs.
Thanks a lot!
