Hi everyone,
so I hope this fits here. I (f23) am in a long distance relationship with by bf (25). From the start I knew he was severely overweight and I was fine with that overall. I find him attractive and we have a great relationship.
The problem is he is around 1,85 and 160kg which makes it hard for him to move around in bed and it's affecting our intimate life. Which is the second big problem after the health risk of being that overweight.
We had several conversations about it. He wants to loose weight and is also trying to but he doesn't want me to loose weight and I can still eat whatever. I'm at a normal weight, maybe a bit chubby.
So now whenever he visits me there is sweets laying around. And where I eat one piece of chocolate every few days he eats 3 a day. And when we bake something I am always worried he will eat too much of it which easily happens. I drag him down. Which I hate. But I can't really tell him to not eat this or that that's not my job. I also don't want to hide all the stuff when he comes over and not being allowed to eat it.
And lately when he's at home he started eating more unhealthy too. And again I don't think I can say anything about that. I also don't want him to feel bad.
How should I approach that? I feel like talking in general about loosing weight maybe helps for a week but then not anymore.. So how can I help him without being controlling over what he eats?
