Had the “oh shit” moment today.

I’m in a wedding in two weeks. Tried on the dress I bought from a friend and we both thought it would be too big. It fit perfectly. So I tried on some other clothes I haven’t worn in awhile. All of them were way too tight. I didn’t fall apart (growth! Woo!) but I’m shocked and at a loss. It’s my first year teaching. I started the year very trim and at my lowest weight in years. I’ve now put on 20 pounds. I run, I eat decently, but I e still put on weight. Pre covid I hit the gym 4 days a week. Now I don’t.

I feel super defeated and kinda gross. Also just had surgery so I know some of it is gonna be that after surgery/pain med bloat. Help me.
