How to know if I am pushing my heart too far or not?

Hello, r/loseit family! I am M/30/179 cm, currently weighing 102 KG and trying to lose weight. I can walk 6.2 KM per hour without any difficulty and wondering if I am pushing my heart too high.

My cardiovascular fitness is a joke and I want to be fit and run a 10KM or 15 KM this year. Is my goal too ambitious? How do I know that I am not pushing myself too much? Also, I hear someone mentioning once about redlining heart safely to gain maximum benefit. I am not sure how to do that. My BPM is 79 and I have pushed it to 149 without any major discomfort. Lost 5 KG already with dieting over two months but want to lose as much as safely possible.
