Exercise interference

Hey guys, 28F here with pretty serious dieting history. I was normal body weight, then competed in a body building show and went from around 130 lbs at 5’4 to 103 lbs stage weight. I tried to stay at around 108-115 lbs two years after my competition and that wreaked havoc on my hormones and mental health. I’m not back up to about 125 lbs and want to get back to 115 lbs. I do however have a ton of muscle and find that my calorie requirements are impossible to hit. I think my maintenance calories are about 2300 kcals and I dieted to 117lbs on 1700 kcals a year prior. In order to get back under the 120’s would y’all recommend cutting out exercise? I really find that it gets in the way of any possibility of hitting my macros or calories. Has anyone else had to stop exercising to get to “lose it”?
