Hello new friends & returning champions!
Day 1 of August. I can hardly believe it! The passage of time is such a trip. Happy Lughnasadh to all the pagan adjacent folks.

I want to hear all about your days so let’s get my boring stuff out of the way!
Weigh in & log weight once a week, Thursday mornings: I logged my weight for day 1 to slap a baseline down for the month.
2000 calories a day (lose two pounds this month): Making soup tonight with random pantry odds & ends. My lunch meal prep is a chicken turmeric chowder.
Exercise 5 days a week (strength work/tbar swings 3 days a week): 30 minute lunch walk maybe all she wrote today, I've got some evening stuff to handle. 1/1 days.
TBD writing goal: Still figuring this one out. Today, I did some maintenance writing & updating files for calendar stuff & other odds & ends. A way to close out July & come into August via written word vomit.
Today's gratitude list: Today I’m grateful for the people in my life that care for me. Without sounding like Eeyore, I don’t always feel worth loving & people stick around anyway. I'm very lucky.
Random to do list item I want to conquer today: Try to check in & be present for the people I care for when I get home. I haven’t been as present as I think they deserve lately.
