I’ve calorie counted and successfully lost weight years ago, but this time I (26F) have been having a much more difficult time staying within my calorie budget on the weekends! I work alternating 3 and 4 day weeks until midnight, so I do all of my eating during the day at work, and don’t eat anymore when I get home. It’s pretty easy on these days and I never feel too deprived or hangry. The weekends are a totally different story! I have alternating 3 and 4 day weekends and go way over my calorie goal at least once, if not more.
I feel so much hunger on the weekend and am unhappy and stressed because I never feel full enough for long enough. I think it’s easier during the work week because I’m busy all day and night. I stay pretty busy during the day on the weekends, but end up relaxing from 7pm-2am and eating a bunch during this time.
I’m 5’1, 185 lbs and eating 1500 calories a day. I workout 4-5 times a week. I’ve been stuck at this weight for 6 months because I’m losing weight during the week and gaining it all back on the weekends.
Any tips for how to make my weekends more successful?
