Higher heart rate + same effort = more calories burnt?

Hello! I have a somewhat stupid question about burning calories and a higher heart rate.

I recently started taking ADHD medication that makes my heart rate higher (by approx. 10-15 beats / minute - it's a known side effect) - meaning that I get into the aerobic zone much faster even when I'm not putting that much effort into it.

I've noticed that my Garmin watch now tells me I burned more calories (about 150-200 more calories for 60 minutes long activity) if I go the same route as usual and at the same tempo.

I'm thinking that the calorie count is incorrect since I'm doing the same amount of work, it's only my heart that beats faster..?

Am I correct?

Thank you in advance!
