Disheartened at not losing weight

I joined a 12 week challenge at my gym which includes 4 strength training classes a week, 1500 calorie a day meal plans, before and after shots, body scans and a positive community of women who are all in the same boat trying to lose weight. The motto of the gym goes along the lines of being 'strong fit not skinny fit'. Starting week 6 now and I have only lost maybe 500 grams in total.

I'm 34f, 165cm, 75kg, bfp 41% (BMI score 27.5 overweight). I gained 10 kgs over covid times just overeating, binging and abusing uber eats. good times.. but in the 6 weeks of the challenge I already feel my habits have changed and I'm no longer craving sweets or thinking of a binge (the nly positive so far lol)

Prior to starting the challenge I tried IF 16:8 or 18:6 every day with 1 meal and 1 or 2 weight lose shakes a day, and managed to drop 4.5 kilos in 16 days. I thought that would have been a great kick start to the challenge and I was super motivated going in. Every week we had check in calls and others were saying they were losing 1 or 1.5 kgs a week but I wasn't budging. I thought the fact I was doing 4 classes a week compared to NOTHING a week would have at least made a change. Spoke to the head PT and we made a special meal plan for me (pescetarian) and I have stuck to that for 3 weeks but still nothing has changed. She insists I need to stick to the 1500 calorie a day meal plans and said IF was rubbish. But when I calculate my TDEE it tells me 1591 is my maintenance calories and I should only consume 1091 to cut weight?

I think I'm going to go back to IF and the shakes coz the meal plans don't seem to work for me. Personally I feel like the plans have too much food in a day anyway as I've already accustomed myself to fasting in evenings. Some people say I might not be eating enough which is slowing my already slow metabolism down, but even if that is the case - shouldn't I still be losing weight from the exercise?

I use a kitchen scale to make sure my grams are correct, use my fitness pal and fastic to track what I'm eating and the times I'm fasting but I honestly just don't know what to do now or what I'm doing wrong. I want to ask a doctor for duromine but I don't know if I'm "overweight" enough for them to prescribe it to me.

Calorie counting and TDEE and the calculations around caloric deficits is all new to me so it's all a bit confusing but I try to educate myself as much as I can on it. But maybe I'm doing something wrong still?

Sorry this is such a whinge, but if anyone has advice I'd love to hear it.
