Can anyone recommend any workbooks or interactive guides to help with compulsive eating?

I know there are many books out there on the subject, but I'm a 'tangible hands-on' person. I like to physically check things off of lists, write things down, etc. Reading books usually is in one ear and (unintentionally) right out the other. I'm looking for something I can work with and interact with every day to help with compulsive eating.

I am not obese, and really am only about 20 lbs overweight. But I think in some ways that makes it harder to buckle down and control the eating. I still appear fit, even though I feel lousy. Every day I start off with the mindset of "This will be the day I stick to my calorie goal!" and every day all goes well until about 4 or 5 pm, or dinner time, and then I just become an eating machine.

So, I need help. And I'm wondering if an interactive accountability system might be for me.
